K so I have an auto in my DD and severely want a 5 speed. I found a totaled 05 base model at the local scrap heap with a 5 speed in it. Im gunna pull the engine out and male it my project toy. how hard do you guys think it would be to do the swap out of trannies if its possible at all? Id especially like to hear from halfcent and those expert guys. Thanks!

 

Of course knowledge is the main part. But having the correct tools could make it 10x easier or harder. If you have the knowledge and tools such as engine jack, tranny jack, a lift and some mucsle tool (ie: impact wrench) than it might be a go. The most involved project I've gotten into was replacing a clutch on my old talon. That alone was probably 10x harder to do without having the benefit of a lift. I had issues trying to get leverage on things that an airtool wouldn't work at. Good luck to you.
