My friend is buying a manual 2.4 and selling his auto 2.4. I find it would be easier and maybe cheaper to swap the auto for a manual. I mean al he is doing is buying a trans for more than its worth haha. Anyone know exactly what would be needed?

 

According to everybody. You need to pretty much replace the whole front end. Axles, frame, and mounts. Also you ecu, center console and add a pedal. Be a nice project if I had a second car, time and a donor car also.
Tell your friend to get rid of it and buy a manual. Fixed.

 

Trans, fly wheel, cam change, clutch, clutch pedal, and that stuff.
