changing my clutch

Im changing my clutch today for the first time and have some people that know what they are doing. I looked thru some websites and said i need an engine lift to lift the engine so i can get the tranny out. I need to know if i need to have an engine lift to do this job or not before i go rent one so i dont waste money.. PLZ HELP

I purchased and engine support that straddles the fender wells across the top of the engine bay. I know it wll be used over and over (as a matter of fact it is being used on a Eclipse now). Engine stand will work as long as you keep the legs out of the way so you can jack the trans.
