DAMMIT i have a new clutch in with about 150 miles on it and want to hit the track up so bad!!!! everyone think i should wait until i hit 500 miles?

gahhhhh i have some reliable people telling me to wait, and some telling me its seated already!

 

what clutch??? if its an organic face, it doesnt take long for it to seat, however if its a ceramic or sintered iron its a different story.

 

whatever stock is haha

 

!!!!!!!! JUST drive 500 miles then go to the track the next day.

 

Just make sure those maybe add another 100 miles and just make sure they are city miles.

 

i will have around 270 when i get there and yesterday i did nothing but stop and go for about half an hour so im gonna risk it!

 

clutch held fine......................

on the one pass it went down the track. broke yet another axle, NOT because its a weak axle, but because im a ******* and dumped it on the ebrake before i had water on the tires for the burnout. first time ive done it since i broke the last axle the same way...

 

I think its time for some upgraded axles....

it was at the dragstrip, so it was my bfg 18 inch dr's

 

were they the kdw/2's? If so how do you like them. Im thinking about getting a set for my gto.

 

i think so, whatever ones look like a paw kinda in the middle. and YES i love them, there still a low pro tire and hook like a MF

 

kdw/2s are not drag radials... the BFG dr are just called g-force something or other drag radials

BFG KDW 2s are amazing tires! I had a set on my old 3g eclipse.. Will be getting a set for the cobalt!
