I just recently had a exedy stage 1 clutch and fidanza flywheel put in my car. Its an 08 2.2. I also had the slave cylinder replaced. Now when my car is cold and I release my clutch and I'm hearin a sqeal of some sort. After my car is warm the sound goes away. It only happens at a dead stop and I'm just getting moving. My buddy who's a mechanic thinks its the trowout bearing that's attached to the slave cylinder. Another friend thinks its just the clutch breaking in. What do you guys think? Any info or experiences would be a great help.

A squeal like that is certainly going to be a bearing. Time to tear it down again!

 

Damn!! I guess the best way to describe it is when you take your hand and pull it across a pain of glass. That's kind of the noise it makes. As far as the set up goes I love it. Not really looking forward to rippin it all apart again, but its worth it.

 

Hey guys, kinda new the forum but i need some help. I got an 06 SS/SC with stage II injectors and pulleys, 4-1 headers, Magnaflow exhaust, JBP intake and Im makin too much power for my clutch. Lookin for a Stage II clutch but need some input on som badass ones. Thanks.
