clutch issue - any ideas?

first off i have a 2006 ss/sc with a little under 45k and a twm short shifter as the only mod.

now the problem I'm having is a bit hard to explain. the problem is that when driving into high rpms the clutch becomes stiff and it kinda of shoots out a lot almost like it's spring loaded. I never noticed this before and it never occurs during normal driving. I have checked the clutch fluid level and it is fine. if anyone has experienced this or has an idea of the problem any help is appreciated.
thanks
