Clutch Master Cyl.
Anyone had to replace one in their balt, if so where did you find one? I've called 2 places so far, and neither can get 1, I'm really hoping not dealer only.

I'll have to put a slave in it first, just to make sure the limp pedal is not caused by that. After that I'll get with you if I need it, damn dealer is 185....

Yes they did, and they could not figure out why it would not stay up and bleed off and go soft after a short amount of time.
Like my clutch went totally limp today, nothing at all. I'm told by my uncle who works on cars all the time it's the Master, but my eclipse did this and it was the slave....
So I'm at a loss.
My insurance paid ZZP to install:
Stage 2 clutch kit
Upgraded TOB
Fidanza flywheel
and Ryan's B&M STS from his car.

Lol. I'm about to start doing mobile clutch installs. Never seen so many people have so many trivial clutch issues. I've yet to see a worn master cyl on these cars, unless some clown damaged it while bleeding the car incorrectly (very possible, but just saying), they don't really go bad. They always seem to go out right after someone changes a clutch without a vac bleeder.....
Master isn't too hard to change on these cars, you just gotta have small hands and be creative, once you get to it and pull the lines it pops out with a twist. Same with the rod out of the pedal, kinda awkward position to get at it, but it just pops in and out.

Well at this point i'm not really sure if it's the master or slave? There is no clutch pedal at all, it pumped up 2 times on the highway, and the 3rd it went completely limp. I know for sure the dealership did not vac bleed it, I'm not sure about ZZP but I know they did it right as they do this all the time with these cars.

So I got bored and went out and played with the car, when I move the clutch pedal you can kinda hear air moving in the master like it has no fluid in it at all. Nothing is leaking in the car, or from the trans, so I'm going with the master being the problem here. I have to talk to my insurance in the AM on what they want me to do.

Pull out the fuse box to get better access to it. Twist it clockwise and pull. Have someone pull up on the pedal quickly to pop the rod out the clip that holds it on the back of the pedal. To put it back in, line up the clutch rod to the clip and press on the pedal to pop it back in.

So it does not come out from the inside of the car right? I'm doing this early tomorrow morning, going to try and get some miles on my new clutch if this is the fix for it...

Well the clip on the pedal was a PITA, but we got it out and the new one in plus bled this morning. The clutch feels great, and it engages just like it should. I got one of those pump handle bleeders, and it only took like 5 times of halfway filling the little tube it comes with.

Just put in a new transmission last night and when I try to put the car in gear it tries to roll forward like the tob isn't disengaging like it should. Just wondering if that is what your car was doing, trying to figure this damn thing out.

Mine is slightly picky when it's in gear for a while, like it's hard to pull out. but then it's fine later on.... I would say bleed your clutch again, because it's not disengaging the clutch all the way. It's what mine was doing when I got it back from the F'd dealer they call Moran....

i also have the zz performance adjustble rod, not sure where i have it adjusted i will check that. the clutch has around 1500 miles on it, it's a clutchmaster's stage 4 6 puck with aluminum flywheel. it also didn't help that i was deployed from january 2010 until april of this year without the car being driven.
