Clutch problems need input

Alright my cars just about to hit 33000 miles and I'm noticing increasing clutch slippage. Also in the last couple days my clutch pedal seems to be pulsing. Now I'm assuming that my clutch is about to go but could there be more of a problem than just the clutch. The pulsing seems to only be when i let the car sit for a day or two. Also when its a little cold out it seems to do it more than usual. The weather was fairly nice today and it seemed to have gone away mostly. Any advice would be great and also what are your recommendations on a clutch. My mods are in my sig below if thats any help. Thanks in advance.

If you're runnin a stage 2 supercharger without a stage 2 clutch, thats why. I work at Summit Racing and a lot of people I've talked to about their cobalts I've recommended or have been told the Zoom or Centerforce clutch are great. Here's a link:

You'll have some really light flywheels to look at also so enjoy.

By the way... how's that Corsa sound? I'm lookin at gettin that but I want somethin throaty with a deep sound.

Thanks for your input and iv herd centerforce is a good clutch. The Corsa sounds great i did a little custom work to it though and it sound a little deeper now. Its a nice system i highly recommend it.

Then I'm sold on the Corsa. If you can tell me what you did to it.

And Centerforce is one of the clutches that can really take a beating. That DX is basically a Stage 3. And stage 3 clutch is track use only. Unless you want a stiff leg every time you get out of the car, I don't recommend it.

I had Corsa sport and the resonator was leaking and it was broken inside so it was rattling. I purchased a Magnaflow round muffler it was 18" to be exact. I had it welded in place of the resonator and it toned it down a but and deepend the tone. It cost me about $75 to do it all so not bad. Now if you were to get Corsa touring i dont think you would have a problem its not as loud. Over all its a good system besides the resonators going bad on a few. And thanks again for the info about the clutch.

Not a problem bud. But I think I may go with the sport corsa. And I'll keep the resonators in mind.

Thanks again.

Mine did the same thing when I first bought it, went for about a year before it decided it was done. My recommendation is just to drive nice, shift above 3k rpms and save up for an Exedy Hypersingle IMO the best clutch set up made for this car.
