Clutch Removal Process, Help!!!!

Im replacing my clutch on my 07 LSJ this week with the help of my father in law. He build his own 1960's Maverick with a Cobra Motor, 4 speed, really nice car. Anyways, do i really need to removed everything the GM LSJ build book says? for example, pcm, radiator, intake, shaft, axles, fendewell....etc.

i want to get a head start on removing all the minor stuff. Im upgrading to GMPP upgrade clutch.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated, Thank You.
