Clutch replacement
I have an 06 ss/sc. Does anyone have a repair manual for step by step instructions, or how many hours this should take? How is the Exedy clutch on ebay that comes with a fidanza flywheel? $525?

I could not find it on that site. I am not the most computer savvy person, do you have a link to that site?

[QUOTE=sscrazy;4476213]So what kind of price would you give me for that act clutch and a flywheel?
QUOTE]
Use the OEM flywheel... Or the Fidanza
Also best price is on www.TurboTechRacing.com
MSRP is Almost $1,000 on this kit.

i have a used spec stage 2 from back in '06 but seen act was out now and bought that asap. I would put act against any brand +/- $500 of a comparable material clutch

here's what the kit comes with:
i'm not sure the exact weight of the flywheel, it is much lighter, ... guess i can weigh it on our postal scale next time i go over to the garage

As far as how much time it should take: if youre skilled and have all the tools including a lift it can be done in about 5hrs, If youre paying to get it done be prepared to pay for about 10hrs of labor, if youre doing it yourself I would say that 12-16hrs seems to be average, and there are numerous 20+hr jobs out there.
