Exclamation Cobalt SS shifting is hard??

I drive an 08 SS Turbo. I've had it for 6 months and its the bet car I've very owned! But since I've had it, the shifting is kind of rough? Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't changed any tranny fluid yet, but I'm about to bleed the clutch to see if this helps!

It's a clutch masters stage 4 racing clutch (6 puck). And no it's not my driving kid. I've been driving stick for 10+ years.

Define whats hard about shifting? The clutch or actually shifting the gears? That kind of clutch is gonna give you a stiff pedal and isnt very street friendly. But if actually changing gears is hard, check the linkage for biding or rusting of the cables.

Out of the other cars ive been in these transmissions dont slide into gear like butter, but it certainly shouldnt be hard.

The clutch just has a kind of "harsh" engagement you could say. I can't race from a stop because when going from first to second, it's almost too hard to throw into gear. But after the car is completely warmed up, the gears just don't feel smooth.

Stage 4 cm clutches have been know to have lightswitch engagements just on or off not much in between also an adjustable zzp clutch rod could help the engagements a little otherwise visit dealer buy new trans fluid and change it out some cars driven hard seem to go thru it pretty fast mine at 78k looks good
