I have an 07 ss/sc and i didnt have the option to get a lsd. But i got every option on it. I knkow how to check it but i thought i just ask i dont want to raise the car up.

 

if u get the g85 yes, supposedly its hard to get a g85 in 07 i heard, but i the g85 package in my 07 silver ss/sc ( meaning yes it has lsd)

 

they do offer a LSD for 07 but its not called G85, that was LSD with recaros, some 07's (mine uncluded) did however have the recaro's. but yes there is an option for just LSD

 

You can get the G85 in the 07's without much of a problem, and those come with the LSD, and I believe, the possibility for heated seats. The later 07's do not have the Recaro Seat options. The early model 07's, which is what I have, does come with the Recaros and the LSD.

 

I have the heated seats. But i dont know if i have LSD. This car has all the options other then jacking up the car to check the wheels, what other ways can you check?

 

if you still have the window sticker you could read that

 

your window sticker will have it on there if you do...

as stated.. teh early 07's had the "performance package" that had the Recaros and LSD ( $1500 )

The LSD is a stand-alone option for $750.

I've seen ALOT of stock units on local lots having it. So it can't be THAT hard to get.

 

open your hood.
look down on the tranny.
if it says LSD you have it.
if it dosnt you dont.

 

i found out that i have LSD on my car by loking at the window sticker, it also came with the heated leather seats, or to find out you could just do a little spinning of the tires and if they both spin, you have it lol.

 

Just a question where on the tranny would it say LSD?

 

I think that the late 07 ss/sc came with lsd standard.

 

Im trying to figure this out. Called up the dealer they have know clue, like always what i was talking about. One guy said the lsd is not 50 state legal. And they cant install it. I told him its a limited slip diff. He goes whats that. I dont get it. They dont know what the hell they are selling.

OMG, it is not standard equipment, it is 50 state legal, and it is a extra option on the sticker, if you don't know if you have one or not you don't need one!!!!
