I was thinking of doing this, does anyone know whether it would be better if i did it myself or should i take it to a mechanic.

If you feel comfortable doing it yourself and you know right now what to do, go for it. If you dont know the process very well you may want to consider taking it to a shop.

 

im fine with doing it myself but if it will take me 14 hours (depending on how many i have had close to the end of the project) but it would be like 3 hours labour for an experienced mechanic, i would really rather pay to get it installed.

I know that there are some mechanics hanging around this site so i am asking how much it will cost, how long will it take.
