Front End Issues

So the Balt is getting kinda loud up front towards the right. It sounds like a spinning noise or a rotating noise. You hear it more as you go faster. It sounds like the front right wheel bearing and I think it is because now I think the left one is starting to go too. You can hear the noise on both sides. But I am not sure. Also now shifting into gears you can hear my throw out bearing I think... It makes a noise while trying to go into or take out a gear. Its quite but very noticeable. Also when the car is in 5th and Im just cruising at like 60 I can hear the noise coming from the throw out bearing if thats what that issue is.. Because its the same damn noise.

So I have no idea... Anyone can chime in... I think new tranny fluid or a new throw out bearing and new wheel bearings... But if anyone else has had this issue please help

sounds like a wheel bearing man, easy fix..if it was something more based on ur TOB you would most likely be having clutch issues as well...

Hunter, there's a GM part number for the trans fluid floating around here.

Yes, it would. A whirring, for example. Should only be in neutral though.

My trans made the same noise.... turned out to be the final drive.

Made noise in gear driving and coasting but no noise with clutch to the floor like you said with yours. Trans was replaced and metal was ran through each gear and pretty much destroying them.... your case could be different though.

Start with wheel bearing. Lift car and rotate wheel while holding spring or using a stethoscope. Should be easy to tell if three bearing is gone. If noise still there then move onto other things. No use throwing money at what you"think" it might be. Fix what you know it's broken first.
