I already have the base bushings installed. And so you curt and then how does the new one attach epoxy? Bolt?

Loctite and a couple hex screws.

yup, looks like its big/heavy enough to act similar to a weighted knob too

idk im still kinda meh on it. yes its a great alternative to a short shifter but idk still for me... ah well

Hell I ordered mine one day after him and they still haven't shipped mine out! I was hopping to install this past weekend now I am hoping for this weekend.

That's odd... mine came in Tues or Wed of last week. I'd shoot them an email. So far the customer service has been good for me.

how do these things work, i hve been thinking about one of these. TWM is too much for me, as i want to put that money towards AIS meth kit.

you cut the ball off the bottom of the stock shifter, and then slip the genuine saab short shifter on the end and tighten up the set screws on it, then reattach the cables and your set

Well I got my shifter adapter and the bushings and took my shifter apart only to find...

That the previous owner had already installed them both, so I cannot comment on the difference because I have been driving with both mods since I bought it 2 years ago. But it's not terribly difficult to install but getting the shifter knob off is a bit of a bitch.

I have this mod. Seems to work well enough

Price was reasonable and improved the shift enough that I am happy with it. Probably not going to be enough of an improvement if you want to lower shift times at the track though. Just my 2 cents.

Took me about 1 hour because I spent so much time messing with the shift knob. Didn't need to take it off after all.

For the price I would say it is worth it.
