Gmpp clutch issue need help quick
Hey I just got off the phone with my tranny guy whos installing my gmpp clutch, and he was explaining to me that the holes on the fly wheel to help center the clutch are bigger than the dowels on the clutch. Has anyone experienced this problem before? I hope the way i explained it makes sense. He said it will work but hes not comfortable about it. I need to know if this going to be a problem.
Thanks
Thanks
Good to hear as long as it will work ok and not grenade on me or somehing. I think he was just looking for my approval just incase something goes wrong he dosent want to be responsible.
I would assume so. In my opinion it should have been stock in the ss.

Well apprently they got everything back togeather and bled the system, and now theres a leak from the bell housing. My guess is the slave cylinder is defective, which is not good for me because now they have to rip it all apart again to see. If it is, its going to cost me more because I didnt get the parts from them. I wish I had the equipment to do this myself. I hate when other people touch my car.
it may not be the slave....it might be the hard line going to the throw out bearing....if it is....I actually have the line that goes from the slave cyl elbow to the throw out bearing...if ya want it let me know and you can have it....
well the reason I say it might be that....when I installed mine.....I did it at work....one of the techs was helping me and was backing out a bolt next to the elbow and bent the elbow...well there is a lil plastic cone that it sits on....and it was somewhat broken....so I had to order the elbow and the pipe just to get the platic cone I needed....oh..and FYI...I had to ge tthe pipe from canada....lol....
Well got the car back and no leaks. Turns out they didnt install the clutch pipe properly.
Does anyone know the easiest way to get at the bleeder valve? I find that the clutch engages too low and it wasnt bled properly or fully.
