have to replace axle need help

so i have to replace the passenger axle AGAIN not my fault this time, but good thing is its under warranty. so heres my problem i cant get it out the trans shouldnt at just pull out? we have beat on it and used a air hammer wont move how do i get it out?

most likley because he can do a better job than the dealer and or hes using an aftermarket axle and not gm bs

my car doesn't have a warranty the part does and the shop i deal with let me help with the repairs and we have tried everything to get it out and we cant i have order the new one and we cant get the old one out on the tran lol

im thinking its time for some good old C4! lol

mine got stuck like that to, just keep pulling and it will eventually pop out.

You should not being using a hammer. A long bar is the right tool. Strong, steady pressure is the key.

I just had this problem tonight... you just gotta pry (not using an air hammer), and work each side evenly... it will be more stubborn if you get it cockeyed in there.

use a long pry bar and keep pressure on it.... while doing this tap the axle on the side with a hammer to help get that retainer clip to let loose.

that happened to me one time what i did was take the other axle out and put a bar in and knocked the axle out .

well I have a couple thoughts,

1. is vehicle in the air and level? or at least even between FL and FR

2. you gonna want a 36/ 48/ 60 inch pry bar fa shizzle!
