I called Hurst today and they said they were backordered on the shifters till 10-15-06.......then i called jegs and they said my order should be shipped out 10-25-06 just figured I'd give you guys and gals an update......i'll wait 25 days for the hurst and cant complain for 136.99!!

 

Good news.....been waitin for this mod to come out.

 

Is this for the SC ? If so that would be cool.

Aaron, I know you read pretty much all the posts for parts, does this news change your ETA ?

We spoke with them about a week ago. At that time they were still saying around the 1st of the year. We will contact them again this next week sometime and see if they say any different.

 

There is a guy on ebay that ses he has 10 on hand ready to ship. But the auction ended and no one bout them.

Thanks, that is weird, his auctions now are listing it as a pre-order. But he also want $50 more than Jegs, I think I can wait.

 

The only reson I didnt buy on was the price.

I knew if I waited I could get it for 40-50 bucks less some place els.

I'd be weiry of that type of post. Dezod and Turbo Tech seem to be very knowledgable companies and they are working pretty hard to get the Hurst in. I'm pretty sure if it was a true real deal Hurst they would have it. I'm going to wait...I'd like to see comparisons between the Hurst and B&M also..

 

I have the B&M and am going to a comparison as soon as I can get the Hurst in the car.

That is why I asked Aaron about this. 2 days ago I asked Aaron what the ETA for the Hurst was. And like he said in his post, sometime in the New Year. Hmmmm.

 

Well, I would offer to buy whichever one you decide to sell, but that would be pointless because that would mean the other is better. lol..

Man I've been waiting impatiently for a while now. I've written e-mails to Turbo Tech and Mr. Gasket (Hurst) and didn't get a response to when it will hit the street. Good to see some of you found a way to get it!

 

so jegs has the hurst shifter for the ss/sc? ready to ship? cause that would be awesome...ive been waiting to get my hands on one...

 

When I contacted the company the day after I ordered it he said the last time he talked to hurst it was on back order till some time in 2007 and about 2 days later he sent me a message saying he contacted hurst and was able to get the shifter. So all I can do is hope to god its the right one. I will keep everyone posted.
