What makes this shifter so good? How is it better than the B&M short throw?

For real, what's the difference b/w Hurst and B&M? Btw i thought the Hurst shifter was already out?

Whatever, I'll just use the midget shifter from my lawnmower--ghetto style, lol.

Hurst is just better! They have been at it longer then B&M and tend to make a more percise and stronger shifter. It just looks nicer too...

Yeah, compared to the truck shifter that comes in a base model, but this is even shorter than that, around 28%.

JEGS does indeed have the Hurst shifter for the cobalt. I just got their winter catalog the other day. I believe it was $132.95

Just to let everyone know I did get the shift. The shifter has hurst and the shift pattern on it but not ingraved. The shifter is gunmetal gray not silver or crome. Below are some pictures of the shifter. I am planing to install tonight I will let everyone know how it went and I will post picks of it installed

Looks swank....

Is the shift knob removable/changeable? Hurst makes other knobs, I was considering white or black....

You should get the "HURST equipped" emblem from Jegs and toss it on your decklid.....

Lets see if it's the right one and how the install goes now. If all goes well I may get this one instead of B&M. Anyone know how much of a decrease in throw Hurst claims??

I installed today it a little hard to get the shifter cable that connects to the bottom of the shifter on. Shifter seems to be working great and I noticed a big decrease in throw. Hurst states a 28% decrease.

The peace of mind of having one far outweighs looks.
