I need a new clutch

Hey, I have an 06 SS 2.4 and I need a new clutch because mine is slipping bad, where do I get them and what is a good aftermarket clutch?

buy the most expensive clutch you can find, that way when you're sitting around with friends, you can brag about having the most expensive clutch you could find!

do you guys run a stock clutch? mines pretty much done and I dont wanna pay $500 for a clutch. is it ok to use the OE clutch if your running like 270 HP? and what kind of clutch do you have?

you'd be better off just getting that upgraded clutch from CED. the problem with the stock setup is the pressure plate. it's made from a bottle of weaksauce.

you may be able to get away with just using an LNF pressure plate and the oem clutch disk, i'm pretty sure the dimensions are the same.

I didn't realize those upgraded clutches were that cheap. Looks like I know where I am getting mine from.

yeah for just a bit higher power levels you can't beat it. $250 for a better clutch with a $50 TOB? great deal

I want a better clutch because the stockers, blow! but that like %75 of my paycheck. just wanted to know if anyone else was running stock clutch with mods.

I've been running the stock clutch with minor bolt ons, and a 2.9 pulley for a while now and it doesnt slip at all. It goes to the track a fair bit, so I don't understand what everyones issue is.

Im not 100% on this but arent the LSJ GM Upgrade clutches our stock LNF Clutches

If so i wouldnt buy that as mine melted

LNF > LSJ

But seriously the LNF issue is the amount of low range Torque
