so just put in my ottp stage 2 mounts, started up the car and shes vibrating like there loose but there not i put the spacers on the inside of the brackets, is she suppose ot vibrate like this info please
My OTTP mounts vibrated a bit until they broke in, now either it doesn't do it or I just don't notice it at all. That's the reality of them.
Did you put them to torque spec? Also the two spacers go on either side of the mount, not sure what you mean by on the inside.
Also did you go for a drive with your engine mount bolts back 1/4 turn and the tranny mounts not uber tight to settle it?

anytime you switch to a "solid" type mount, there will always be vibration. When I put my TTR mounts in, they were vibin pretty hard for about the first 1K...then after that they were the shiznit!!!

1. the mounts will vibrate alot when u first install them, once they work in they will still vibrate but not as much.
2. Did u torque them right away? You are suppose to leave the bolts abit loose, go for a drive with light throttle and under 3000rpm. This gives the mounts/tranny/engine time to settle in. Then once done torque them to specs.
3. cant remember the specs, think they are around 60ft lbs...not sure though.

i would do it, yes. Its unlikely, but your engine/tranny could have shifted when you swapped them, even 1/4 of a inch or smaller. But when theres any movement, it could cause issues. Once again, untightening the bolts will let everything settle, then re-tighten them to the specs. It will also help with the vibs.
Once again, it could or couldnt cause issues. But would you rather take the extra procaution and go by what should have been suggested in your instructions (because it was on mine) or would u rather take the risk and something seriously going wrong with your engine/tranny.
funny story about a person i met that did that...
Me, my gf and my buddies were at a parking lot with our bikes shooting the ****. Down the road all we heard was this weird screetching sound but couldnt see anything...then all of a sudden comes bouncing a wheel. We ran over to this kid that had a riced out sunfire and aftermarket rims. His wheel came flying off and he skidded about 50 meters on his right front brake rotor, in the process tearing his front bumper and other things apart.
We asked him what the hell happend and he said he has no idea, him and his buddies just put new tires on the rims and he just left the shop a few mins ago. we asked him if he torqued the lugs to specs, he said yes. So we looked around and tried to find out why it happend, we asked him again "are you sure you torqued them to specs" he said "yes im not a retard" we then asked what were the specs, he said "we dont know, we just used the impact gun and went until it wouldnt go any tighter"
Moral of the store, dont be a lazy ass, find the specs, do it right...

did you loosen the 3 bolts on the SIDE engine mount? Mine did the same thing and powell told me to loosen those let the engine settle then re tighten them to spec and it was much better.
