LNF Cruise Control Function with MU3

Does the cruise control still function if you were using a 08-10 LNF ECM and BCM and an F35 transmission with the 4.05 final drive ratio?

My old Saturn does not have functional cruise control when you change gear ratio because the clutch slip is calculated by RPM-speed ratio. The Cobalt has a clutch pedal position sensor to disengage the cruise, so a different transmission shouldn't affect it, right?
