Trans is out of car on the floor, should i resurface the stock flywheel or buy a aftermarket lightweight. This is a big job that i dont wanna do twice. I know this is been beat to death, but is their any DISadvantages to the lightweight flywheel.. Gimme your thoughts/opinions pleeze.

Been running a LW SPEC FW for over a year, harder to take off smooth on a DD but not bad once you get used to it. I think the LNF performs better with the heavy beast it comes with. Doing it over, I'd resurface & machine the stock one.

SPEC Stage 2+ & matching FW here. The LNF stock FW needs the dowel holes machined out to 12mm to mate with the SPEC pressure plate, that's why I got their flywheel. Plug & play.

Get some new FW bolts, the service manual doesn't come right out & say to replace them IIRC, but they are torque to yield. Had I known at the time I would have replaced mine.
