Need Clutch Help ASAP

hey i blew my clutch last night and got my car towed to my transmission shop. they want $1200 to do it. hes getting the stock clutch for a 2005 2.2 chevy cobalt (my car) and its going to cost 780 just for that. does anyone know of a cheaper maybe performance clutch for this car that will fit? please help i need to know very soon.

I just bought a SPEC Stage 2+ for like $475 and that is a performance clutch. The stock clutch is like half of that. I can sell you a stock clutch, new if you'd like.

Ouch, I could have gotten you a GM one for several hundred less.

so ive heard... lol problem was i need my car for school its my daily so i needed it done asap and noone really got back to me too quick

Exedy replacment on is like 300

They can't we charging u that much for a clutch unless there hourly rate is cheap as **** it's a 8 hr job

**** i can get one for $190 and a good one
