Need new clutch
I have a question for the people with the exedy. How's the low speed drivability, like inching forward just slow ingagment movment. I really need a clutch also, and money is not object if the clutch is worth it and the drivability isn't a pain in the ass. Also how is the exedy holding up long term?
dont know about long term, ive had mine for 1500 miles or so. You can let the clutch out slowly and the car will crawl, but you must give gas if you want to let it out more.
When the clutch is brand new it kind of judders and chatters, makes you second guess if you should have gotten it. However after 600 miles, its almost as smooth as stock. I usually leave at about 1500rpms or a little more. The clutch feels grabbier after driving many miles into your daily trip. It still has no issues handling my trifecta tune.

My SPEC Stage 2+ & LW flywheel are fine, but if I were doing it over I'd keep the stock flywheel and get the ZZP Stage 4+ for a few hundred less total. Had to cut the midrange timing a bit to get the load to build as fast with the LW flywheel and it tends to stall easier. If I let it drop to 1k rpm in second in traffic, it'll jerk/buck under light accel due to the LW flywheel. 2k miles on mine now. My 2 cents.
