I can't believe you need a clutch yet, I have a 2005 SS, 105960miles with 287 HP last time I had it on a dyno and I just replaced my stock clutch with GMPP clutch from Crate Engine Depot last week.

I have raced my Balt at Newton with about 40 pulls and abused the crap out of the stock clutch and about a month ago I was racing a friend and hit second gear and about 4 grand it just slipped like I missed second gear but was slipping.

I just replaced mine like I said with the upgrade and it runs great as I'm still breaking it in but if you do it your self please look at my post about installation Precautions in the drive train forum it can help.

Yea I know I kinda messed up with the clutch. It was wet for a week straight and it slipped a lot then. But I shift at 3000 rpm and it grabs good. But it will slip on occasion. But I know the hill incident didn't help it.
