no pedal pressure
no pedal pressure
hey guys well i installed the clutch friday and tried bleeding it sat. my friend and i was bleeding it for like 20 min trying to get the pedal stiffer but it just wouldnt work. i know my clutch slave cylinder is good because when we pulled the tranny off, nothing was leaking from the inside and it only has about 7000 miles on it. im thinking its the clutch master cylinder but the dealership is going to test that today. im thinking that i just didnt bleed it right or something. before we replaced the clutch it had some pressure in the clutch pedal but not much. it was still disengaging but not good. do you guys think that we just didnt bleed it good enough or what??? a guy at my brothers work told me to hook a line from my brake bleeder valve to my clutch bleeder valve. he said to keep the the clutch valve open and bleed the brakes like you would normally do. has anybody ever tried this before???
Same thing happened to me when I did my Exedy clutch. I just used the bleeder vavle at first and I'd get a little bit of pressure and then the pedal felt ok for about 10 mintues. Then it would go down, I then tried a vacuum bleeder and it wouldn't do anything for pedal pressure. I eneded up pulling the transmission again and found the slave leaking.
Sucks to say but you gotta pull it again.

alright guys well heres the thing, all i did was replace the clutch disc. yeah i know my ******* should have replaced everything while i was in there. i get pressure when i get to the end of the clutch but it still doesnt do nothing. a mechanic was telling me that if you get pressure at the bottom of the pedal then that means the pressure plate is bad. the slave cylinder only has about 7000 miles on it so i dont see why it would be bad.
