OTT Stage 2 Rotated Trans Mounts or TTR STOP Trans Mounts
Sounds good, just curious on what people thought.... I'm planning on taking off the Ingalls ETD and Prothane Trans mounts and picking up the TTR Upper Engine Mount and the OTT Stage 2 Rotated Trans mount...
All you need is the stage 2 OTTP mounts.
Just curious then, which would be a better setup: Ingalls ETD + OTT Stage 2 Rotated Trans Mounts OR TTR Upper Engine Mount +TTR STOP Trans Mounts
OTTP Stage 2 mounts, nothing else. No complaints, loving them.
Upgraded from the GMPP "wheel hop kit" mounts aka T/C mounts. They were a significant upgrade from stock, but still hopped under certain circumstances. OTTP S2 are the best option without a doubt.

stage 1 is less money and works for me...cant vote on your poll dont have stage 2, dont drag race....lol
I personally dont care for the idle vibes in stage 2, but either one is better than the TTR "generic" (lol) poly for vibes...

So I am wondering why ZZP dont make a provision for traction bars on their chromalloy flca.
Do you think they have tried them? ZZP have to be considered the #1 drag racing shop that participates on this site...
^^ If your sub 300 WHP (which most are unless turboed or TVS) then Stage 1 would be sufficient and a noticeable difference would be felt as far as eliminating wheel hop and have a far more solid drive BUT if you have mid 300's to 400 WHP and are in fact Turboed or TVS than you would see better result (more solid, better protection from Wheel Hop, etc.) with the Stage 2 mounts but with the Stage 2 mounts come a little more vibes when comparing to the Stage 1 mounts of course because the Stage 2 mounts are made to handle high powered applications... Heres a great thread where you can find great information on both the OTT Rotated Trans mounts and TTR STOP Mounts.... https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/comparing-ttr-stop-mounts-ottp-rotated-mounts-205164/....

Yeah it was kind of explained that Road track or autox is stage 1 mounts and drag racing is stage 2. I dont plan on making much over 300whp even if I get that high. so stage 1 ottp mounts were perfect.
I am aiming for 300-350whp. I really want to a good car for auto X and time attacks. Nothing serious just looking to have a good time. It will still be my daily most likely but vibration and a stiff ride isn't something I'm concerned with. My old car was a real piece so I'm just happy to have a car that I can have some fun with. With what I'm looking for should I invest in Stage 1 or 2 mounts?
Here is a proper description taken from OTTPerformance.com:
These new mounts rotate the engine and trans to align the axles. This does two things, it eliminates wheel hop and it helps your axles/trans case survive. Unlike poly mounts these are far less harsh and will have less vibrations. These are made from Billet 6061 aluminum and cnc machined You will have 2 options when ordering.
Stage 1 Use's a Billet rotated front mount with a spacer under the stock rear mount. This is for sub 300whp cars. There will be very little vibration from the mounts.
Stage 2 Use's Billet front and back rotated mounts and the spacer is built into the rear mount. This is for the avid drag racer, these will have slightly more vibration then stock but nothing close to poly. Stage 2 will also help get more power to the ground, due to the mounts limiting engine movement.
Billet mounts are only for 05 and up cars. If you have an 04 please contact us as you will have a core charge on your front mount, a little longer wait period and the pricing is different.

I would say both options would be great. It's really all up to you; Stage 2 will get more power to the ground (especially since you're planning up to 350 WHP) BUT it will mean increased stiffness and minimal vibes. Personally, I would go with the Stage 2 just because of the power level you're aiming for; but like I said it's entirely up to you. good luck with your build tho
