Post Your Aftermarket Clutch

Just wanted to see what the best performance clutch is and what you guys recommend. Post what clutch you have and an average price with likes and dislikes. Thanks in advance!

I'm about to buy the Exedy Hyper Single clutch.
The whole assembly weights in at 26.155 lbs
The Flywheel weights in at 11.92 lbs
Disc at 3.08 lbs
Pressure plate at 10.87 lbs

It will support about 358 ft lbs tq to the wheels and 420 to the flywheel. EXCELLENT numbers. This will hold up to nearly any set-up you can come up with. Kinda hard to get though...

Go to drivetrain section and read! There is a ton of threads there and a current poll for best clutch.

Exedy FTW!

I liked my Exedy while it was alive. Just wouldn't handle what it was rated for, among other things. For drag race they are actually only rated to 280ft/lb torque on slicks which kind of sucks.

Mine is very touchy also. That's just normal for our cars. I don't think it has to do with the clutch.

Where did you hear that from? Someone on the site or you've heard that the centerforce brand is good?

Yea first is pretty touchy but you will get used to it.

I have had no need to go beyond stock yet since I have yet to even need a replacement clutch for any manual ive driven, i dunno why but ive never experienced clutch slip or failure.

knock on wood
