I agree. but a boost ramp really makes the ZFR even usable with power. it spools so damn fast anyway.

I am pretty sure you still use the LSJ/LNF FW and Clutch

Things you need
-You can use the lsj clutch/flywheel, you will need the trans spacer
-f23 axles
-f23 shift cables
-f23 front trans mount
-Modified lsj thermostat housing to clear the shifter cables
-f23 line from the clutch master cylinder to the f23 slave
-f23 slave cylinder
except you just need the f23 clutch pipe and bleeder block. The line from the clutch master to the bleeder block is confirmed to be the same in the f23 and f35

how is it possible that a f23 will hold that kind of power better than the f35? is it built that much better. I have one sitting in my garadge

Not sure but a lot of higher hp turbo LSJs are running them after blowing F-35s and Even a few F-40s up.

This and compared to a 4.45 trans F-23s are nearly free. I see them for just $200-300.

F23's are getrag transmissions, with shorter gear ratio. So they hold power

F35's are Saab transmissions that are based on a 25 year old design. Coupled with the LNF's 3.82 gear ratio causes issues with high torque, high horsepower cars. I notice that more people blow up their tranmissions when they use six-puck clutches.

F23 in my 09 which is geared longer, vs 4.05 F35 the 23 is shorter in every gear up to 5th for the highway which is nice but won't be as good in a longer race then.

How are you guys breaking 4.45s..... I've had my 4.05 swap for 20k miles now and the block let go before the tranny, and still going strong.

Im curious as to the internal design of the f23 since GM rates the torque as NM. Wonder why they rated it low.

F23 = 230NM cap
F35 = 350NM cap

broken f40? this is the first im hearing of this...what broke? im betting it was just syncro related which would lead to my next question...What clutch and flywheel was used?
