replacing clutch...........epic fail

So, last month my clutch went out on me. The stupid slave cylinder decided to kill itself. Well, I had a shop do the work instead of me because I just couldnt be without a car for the time it would take me to get to it.

Well, 3 days after I got the car back the clutch developed alot of play at the top, and the engadgement point would constently move up and down. I just attributed it to an airbubble stuck in the line and I took it back to the shop and they bleed it. I did that twice with no affect.

A week after that I brought it back again and they replaced the master cylinder. The clutch felt great and I thought the story was over. But it wasnt. 3 days after that the clutch kept doing the same bull ****. Another thing I have found is that when the clutch gets alot of play at the top and releases really low is that I can push/release the clutch about 10 times really slow, and that will make the clutch not disengage at all. the clutch feels pretty normal if you pump it for 20 seconds. But it will start to develop the play at the top in a matter of shifts.

thanks for any advice, sorry about all the run on sentences

what clutch was put in it???

to me it sounds like a hydralic problem, basicly master or slave. being nothing changed after they did the master cyl, id suspect the slave cyl is faulty, providing there are no fluid leaks .

they put a new stocker in. dont have very high power goals lol. I was pretty sure it would be the slave. just cant figure out what the hell would be wrong with a brand new slave to make it do that.

Air leak. Just because there is no brake fluid on the ground doesn't mean that there isn't a leak under vacuum. I ran into this same issue with a DSM. Tighten everything again, including the bleeder screws.
