Question shifter opinions?

i want to know which shifters you think are the best and if your having or had problems with them what are they.
my reverse lockout collar is destroyed and i need a new one and im looking at hurts and the twm but leaning towards the hurst with ottp bushings. if there is another good shifter you know of other than these two please tell me about it so i can see what all the options are.

TWM with heavy knob (don't get the standard knob), bushings and cable clamp. TWM for life.

The standard knob works fine as long as you know how to shift.

Mine it is silver, the standard knob looks satin and it feels like plastic. Plus, my buddy got it (the standard knob) and it's starting to get ruined, it looks like it is peeling off. Also, the heavier knob makes the shift feel much more firm

If you have to do it, do it right at the beginning. TWM with the options I've told you is the only way to go

It's fine, as long as you get the heavier knob and the bushings. The cable clamp is something you can get later on

I think all the other brands are not worth it a penny compared to TWM. Better the right expense at the first time other than saving a little money and regret it. OP, listen to us

Just a warning... The metal knobs get cold as **** during cold weather, but I don't mind. Just an incentive to get through the gears faster.

I like the stock shifter, with the TWM base bushings.

my shift currently sometimes has a minor hesitation does anyone who has the clamps from twm know if that solves that. i mean the hesitation is milli-sec but i can live with it...its no automatic and it wouldnt hurt my track times with what i got going on now

My knob never gets hot. I have 20% on the rear windows but nothing on the front sides yet. My leather never gets hot enough to burn me either. I haven't been in 45C weather but I can't see it being much different.

If you have some kind of hesitation in your shifts you may need to adjust your cables? And just an FYI nothing compares to the complete TWM set. Ditch your stock.
