Unhappy Something with the Transmission :/

So I was driving down the road today and I hit it outta first and when i tried to put it in second i couldnt. I rolled to a red light and messed around with the gears and the only thing i could do was put it in reverse. All the other gears weren't working. I dont know what the problem is but it wont go into gear. So there are three posibilities that I can think of.

1. Roll pin
2. Linkage is bent or bad
3. No transmission fluid

If anyone has had this problem or something similar please let me know what you had found out about it. Thanks alot.

take out your cupholders and check your shift linkage, that happened to mine but it was with different gears

Found out that it was indeed the roll pin and i got it fixed for pretty cheap. But i also replaced it with a firmer iron roll pin because my mechanic said that GM's roll pins go bad very easily.
