Tob

Is our lnf f35 tob supposed to be at constant contact with the pressure plate? I'm having weird noises coming from the tranny when the clutch is engaged and then the noise goes away when it's disengaged and the tob is pressed onto the pressure plate.

all hydraulic clutch systems, including ours, are constant riding release bearings.

your going to need to confirm where the noise is coming from, put the car on jack stands and listen under the bellhousing and transmission so see where you hear the noise. a cheap mechanics stethascope would be great. generally a noise with the clutch pressed in is something in the clutch, possibly the release bearing. if the noise is with the clutch out usually is a transmission input shaft bearing
