torque converter

well i give up. i've been searching for a torque converter for the 4t45e tranny and i cant find one. is this a ghost hunt or what? and what exactly does it do for your performance? i haven't been able to bring up any in depth info. i've only found site where you purchase them.

5t40 uh? anyone you can put me in contact with that owns this. i would really like to get a good opinion on preformance difference.

yo brian what does the torque rating mean? will handle it more torque or will this give me more torque?
