Well, looks like I won't be of any help to you. All I could find are the 87 numbers. Sorry bout that. They all show to be good numbers though.

Where are they supposed to be ordered from? My dealership called the/a place and they said they don't have those numbers on file. I would assume that there is only one place for them to be ordered from.

WTF... this is pissin me off. I don't see how they can't be able to order the tools. I might have to go postal on this one.

I've got good news and bad news. I found all the tool numbers you will need but... you will have to go through 179 pages of special tools to find the ones you are looking for. Hopefully you know which ones you need. https://gmspecialservicetools.spx.com/SearchTools.aspx On the right side do a vehicle search. It will list all the tools plus some universal ones. Good luck.

Okay, sorry I couldnt get back to you. Ive got two sets of F23 tools but it appears as though most of the F35 tools have either walked away or in other peoples boxes at this time. I can tell you that the reason you cant find the tools you need is because the majority of the special tools for the F35 arent normal GM "J" or "DT" tools, this is because they are SAAB tools , so they are numbered differently. the numbers below are accurate.

As you can see, very few of the tools needed to service the F35 are regualr KentMoore "J" tools, and those few that are, several are fairly generic and they are readily available from other sources

Wish I could have been of more help, but I am really an F23 guy, hope the list gets you closer

Thanks... those seem to be the numbers that are in the Service Manual... the ones that the dealer has been trying.

They are calling a SAAB Dealer today to see if they have them. Hopefully, the numbers are the same, as you say they are... and hopefully they are required tools for a SAAB Dealer.

If the Saab dealer doesn't have them... then I am **** out of luck.

Sucks... ALL I need to do is take the 2nd gear synchro off of one tranny and put it on another.

ANY HELP IS STILL APPRECIATED.

Bump

http://saab.spx.com/hwtordr.asp You can order directly from here. Just let me know what kind of prices they give you as I'm curious.

Thanks... I imagine they cost an arm and a leg... just as they are supposed to.

I'll call them tomorrow and see if they have them all available... the website lists them all available, except for the J-tool J 25031-A Three Jaw Puller... so we'll see.

You wanna come up here and do mine? I'll pay you.

And I wasn't planning on wasting my money on the tools. But I know absolutely nothing about trannies... so me doing it by myself is ABSOLUTELY out of the question. I'm just trying to find the tools to make my DEALERSHIP buy them. The same dealership whose trans EXPERT chipped the hell out of my 5th gear last time they took it apart.

EDIT:

The phone number listed on that site to buy the tools... is the same one that the dealership called... and they told the dealership that they had no idea what they were talking about.

The Service Manager read off the phone number and all the part numbers... exactly as they appeared on the web site. WTF. I'm gonna call Kent Moore today.

Evidentially... all the Dealership needs is:

87 92 129 Lifting Eye
87 91 303 Puller Arms, 150 mm
87 91 287 Puller
87 91 410 Output Shaft Protector

...and then they can operate.

Damn them. The Serv. Mang is calling a Saab Dealer right now.
