Are there any automatic transmissions that have the manuel shift thing that will work in a cobalt

In the malibu, which is the same drivetrain, there is a button on the shifter for + and - in low range. I'm sure it could be retrofitted.

It honestly has nothing to do with the trans, just the TCM logic.

You are better off trading the car for a manual. Swapping transmissions would be more hassle than it's worth and getting the computer to work properly with the slap stick wouldn't be easy either I don't imagine

i was thinking about getting a mazdaspeed 3 a ss or just a manuel mazda 3

This is just like moving your shifter to I or L, except you get push buttons

And having only 4 gears is boring so i would think its not worth it.
