Transmission Clunk

As some of you may know, I just made solid trans mounts for my ss/sc. They work great and all, but I've been noticing that during spirited driving, when I let the clutch out (after the shifter is in gear) there is a clunk from the engine/transmission. I'm sure that its from the transmission due to the fact that its not shifting around anymore, but my question is...will this destroy my transmission?? Should I try putting one stock mount back on? Any input is great.
