Transmission Cooler

Ok, so I talked to Cobaltic today about this real quick and he is installing one. Has anyone else installed one of these? It looks pretty inexpensive, and if it saves the life of my transmission, then sounds amazing.

Who has one? What kind did you get? How was the install?

when u get it, let me know what kind u got, and how the install went. im definately gunna get one after today. really hot/humid day here in michigan, driving around all day with the temp reading 200-205 was just pissing me off.

the how to made it look pretty straight forward, but then again, everything is easy when ur reading and looking at pictures.

I am having a B&M Supercooler installed this weekend so I'll let you know how the install goes and then I should be able to answer any other questions.

I just slipped a meduim sized Hayden on my 2.4 today. I see where to add tranny fluid, but I can't figure out how to check the fluid level. The owners manual is no help. All it says is don't check it, bring it in to a dealer if it is leaking. There's usually a little weep hole, but I can't find the bolt.

What do you think the capacity of a medium sized, plate type trans cooler is (with about 5ft of lines?) I hardly lost any fluid at all on the install (Thanks PpaZz!).

I hate to just add a little fluid blindly, but if I must, do you think a pint sounds about right?
