transmission differential

ok so my car went into the shop because of not staying into second gear it keeps popping out so the dealersip said it was under warrenty so it was all good they gave me a rental car and what not now i got a call today that now all of a sudder the transmission is not covered now they said and i quote "transmission differential is spun out" now i have no idea what that means not a clue so if someone can help me out and let me know what i am dealing with that be great

teh trans warrenty covers the entire trans. tell them to get the dicks out of their asses, and get a list of other reports of the same problem. if they can't prove this has happened before, then it'll be covered. if they CAN get a list that its happened before, no matter how many are on that list. if only one was fixed under warrenty, that shows its a warrentiable item. yes, i just made that word up. either way. tell them to **** off and fix it. if they don't just take it somewhere else

The differential isn't a wear item. It should be under warranty.

Threaten to call GM's warranty line.

well thanks for all the help there guys i phone the gm people the head guys and there going to look into it and they said they dont see why it wouldnet be covered so i might hear something in a few days and if that dosent do it iam going to get rid of the car and get something else i guess because this is bullshit

i wouldn't sell. our resale is crap but your gonna take an unnecessary loss. They should fix it as it is a part of powertrain, unless ur outside 100k or 5yrs.
