I have been having a problem with my reverse gear for a while now. I have adjusted the cable clamps every possible way to see if that was the problem and it fixed nothing. The car will not go into reverse. Although, reverse works some of time, others it wont go in at all. Sometimes it also goes into reverse but the gear doesnt engage; it just grinds. Could this be caused by bent linkage or a bad roll pin? I really hope it isnt the gear itself. Any input is appreciated.
