Heres a picture of mine. Was one of the original first ten i believe it was. Still holding up great. And to the comment of just doing it without the trans mounts... spend the money and get them both youll be glad you did later. Wheel hop? what wheel hop.

Mine has about 2500 miles on it now and I have noticed lately that the vibes are almost completely gone....especially after the stage 2 install and cleaning my throttle body (there's a How-To now)
Quick Question?
Now that 100's have the Upper Solid Engine Mount, by Turbo Tech Racing (
Let see some pictures of all the great colors we offer (since we have not had time)

the vibs from the motor are less dampened by the different materials in the new mount, so they transfer to the chassie better...thus causing you to feel the vibrations more. This direct link also gives you the stability to reduce wheel hop. This kind of thing is a big give and take..the better it is for racing, the worse it gets at dampening vibs...but the more it dampens, the looser it is and the worse it is for racing!
Also get a "flat black" mount with a black bushing, it looks like it would be there stock
and then when I was on TTR.com under the mounts when you select the color and what not there was and option "Prothane Trans Bushing Kit (Front & Rear):" that was 49.99, what are they?
They are 2 tranny bushings, which you remove the stock soft rubber and install in these bushings. The only way to get rid of wheel hop is the TTR mount, and the tranny bushing kit. If you have wheel hop you run the risk of breaking axles and your transmission case.
those are trans mount bushings....they help with the wheel hop to...they have to be pressed into your current mounts, but they are a big help. The vibs make it feel like you have a v8 under the hood...lol...
Are the trans mount bushings just as easy to install as the engine mounts? and do you think they are really necessary, or does it make that big of a difference?
