just put the mount on a workbench, grease the mount, push the insert at an angle as far as you can by hand, take a heavy hammer and hit the top of the insert and it'll pop right in. then just give it a few more taps to fully seat in place

the mounts were the first thing I modded on my SS. wheel hop was such a major PITA, so naturally these mounts were the way to go. Upper engine and 2 tranny mounts did the job and eliminated wheel hop!!

and vibrations? every1 gets scared by vibes. you don't feel em under 1200pms, and at idle it's only slightly noticeable. it is highly recommended to do the 3rd tranny mount... https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...+mount+install so that way all mounts are solid. why do 3 when you can do em all?

say goodbye to your tires

I got a 2009 Cobalt SS/TC. Will these work just fine for it, and will it eliminate wheel hop? Thanks.

The TTR Upper engine mount is a direct bolt on to the SS/TC cobalts

does this work with rotated trans mounts because this mount is more ridge and not flexible for the new drivetrain alignment

some ppl have said that its better to have the stock motor mount cause the ottp trans mount tilt the engine n the stock mount gives it room to move. also, there are ppl that have all 3 mounts and have not had any complaints. the way is see it is, if u dont have any wheel hop for the ottp trans mounts, there is no need for a ttr motor mount. but i do have one n have the trans bushing as well and love them very good product

BAM! here she be. Make less vibration if not same with this and lower prothane inserts installed. NO MORE WHEEL HOP for sure! I had traction bars before and they worked but not the type of thing you want to daily drive with on...
