zzp vs ottp stage 1 axles....
i do not want any fighting over zzp or ottp in here please. this should be a simple question.
what if any are the differences between zzp's stage 1 axles and ottp's stage one axles?
on zzp's site---Rated 325WHP by our competitor, same alxes sold by them for $399
i am assuming they are talking about ottp...
on ottp's site---Made by a different manufacturer than our competitors.
so one place says they are the same, the other place says they are different.
so what are the differences? has anyone used either of them?

hmm thats interesting. i know they are eachothers 'main' competitors probably, but perhaps they are both talking about different competitors?
this would be cool to know though, i'd need to see both axles to compare though. i have the zzp stage 1's

how much power do you have? have you had any issues with the axles?

Went though 3 of them drag racing, once 2 at the same time. Have now given up on drag racing, was tired of breaking them. The fun part is you can in theory take them back and get new ones. I didn't feel like bothering, and just got new ones.
I havent been on the site much lately(very busy, moving, fixing house, wife is preganant with 2end child ect.) so please fill me in on what the deal is with ottp and with these axels. My factory axels lasted 185000km(115000 miles) and only blew a passenger side axel when my mechanic made a mistake and didn't tighten my new moog balljoint in june and it let go sending the wheel to the fender and breaking my axel in the process. The garage paid for and put in a replacement axel from marshlands(local parts place in moncton, nb, canada) it blew now after only a few months and less than 5000km.
Called around for better axels locally and napa said the only one they carry is the same one manufactured by cardone that blew up on me. My mechanic is gonna check if I have other chassis problems or blown mounts since I felt a front end vibration even though I got 4 new tires balanced and put them on in june with my new right side axel, moog balljoint, tie-rod and wheel-bearing, and had a 4 wheel alignment done all at same time.
If the axel turned out to not just fail from another problem, then I obviously want to buy a tougher axel even if they will replace the part under warranty because I dont want to pay a tow call and shop labour every 3 months. Anyways, is the ottp stage 1 really the same as napa? can anybody confirm this? Because ottp was who I was going to call if I couldnt source a better solution locally since a gm axel is $606+tax which is just plain retarded. I don't want to buy $800 dss axels either because I dont drag race, I just drive my car spiritedly on back-country roads. Thanks in advance for your advice and help, always found that this site is 100% certain THE best resource on the internet to check whenever I have issues or need to check about a code.

idk probly 280 at the crank (no dyno) but i've done lots of hard launches/drop clutches on these so far. idk whats making this noise i'm hearing but sometimes i hear a mechanical 'click' when getting on and off the gas. idk what that is though. axles make the car feel a lot stronger
