The Official Dyno Thread
I think both of you tune in your own ways. I am tuned by someone here in St. Louis that does a very good job and it's also a different way. I've seen your tunes BYT, they are good. What needs to be done is, you both just need to drop it. Both have claimed great numbers and have happy customers. Leave it at that. Comparing who's e-Tuning dick is bigger isn't proving anything but taking up bandwidth.
Also, BYT, if you go to the GM Tuner Bash, I have some questions for you and maybe a favor, you can PM me if you want. It's something to do with your tuning capabilities.

I notice this thread gets recreated every so often. Was just wanting to put in a little suggestion. How about a standard correction factor when this thread is recreated? i've seen SAE, STD, uncorrected, etc... I would recommend SAE correction as its the standard for car manufacturers. that's all
Yea, I'm just going to post whatever the forum member gives me. Trying to get the same correction factor is getting too complicated. Most people aren't going to even know what correction factor their dyno is.
The thread gets recreated because after a certain period of time, you can't edit your posts anymore unless you are a mod. And I somehow doubt css.net admin wants to make me a mod, LMFAO.

well, i noticed for your 1/8th and 1/4 mile thread, you put the 60' in the mods list. Can't you put the correction factor for these? it will get people aware of correction factors and than maybe a trend to pick one and stick with it. I mean, how hard is it for the customer to tell the shop to apply a different correction factor? It would be nice if we were comparing apples to apples.

Most of our dyno testing is done in sae. My LNF 530whp was sae. Our 510 twincharge was sae. Our 356 LE5 dyno was sae. I often post both sae and std for comparison purposes.
din?
We thought that about the 3800 market. I think it's just inevitable. Everyone wants a higher number. Personally, I don't care what anyone uses as long as they disclose which correction was used.
