06 , replacing radio

06 , replacing radio

im sure there have or is forums that explains this but couldnt find them.. i have a06 chevy cobalt ls and i was wondering do i need a special box to install in my car when i install a new radio in my car ? also where would i find a wiring harness for the cd player for th 06 cobalt?

70-2103 is the harness and and what kind of box do you mean. on the 06 the on;ly thing the radio controls is onstar if you have it. you wont lose your dic or chimes, thats only an 07 thing. If you have onstar the only way to keep it would be to piggy back a new stereo on your stock stereo other wise all you need is the cheap harness i labled above andthe install kit.
