Avic Z1

I know its an older model, but is it a good system, i know some-one selling one cheap and am considering it.

Yeah there good, HDD navagation, should mean you can listen to music and have the navagation going at the same time. (the nice view that sits about 200 meters up and to the back instead of a couple thousand feet right above you)
If your getting a deal on it then its even better.
If you want someone to install it it go see Mike at SoundsGood in coquitlam, by the Ikea on Lougheed Hwy, you will need a bypass in order for the video to work while your driving.

I forgot about the Bridge, you might want to wait till they fix that mess, its hard to get across right now.

How much are you looking at paying for it if you don't mind me asking?

kingg5 has a Z2 and he loves it, i think he told me that you can upgrade to the Z2 or Z3 harddrive and software as the unit has stayed the same.

hey spun im gonna need some advice from you when i do my sound system..which might be in a long time though lol..can only do little things until the car is paid off by the end of this year and the bike is bought so maybe next year i'll start on it..only little paint projects and springs for now

Thanks for the advice Spun, I can get it for about $250. I already have bypass set up for the deck i have in there now, so hopefully that should work.

Guy i was going to get it from sold it to some-one else for $500, guess he found out he could get more for it. Ended up getting an avic-d3 i so instead so its all good.

yup Z! is a very good head unit and can be upgraded to the Z2 or Z3. i would jump on it.
