So i got laid off today and will have some extra time on my hands. I have a small local show this weekend and i think im gonna install my original modded xbox in the car to play on my avic-d3. I was wondering where i should put the box. I know it doesnt fit under the seats so i was thinking about sitting it up behind the drivers seat but im not sure. any advise would be helpful thanks

Xbox is bulky as hell, and it's not exactly "square"... sell it to a game store.. for like $30.00 and then buy a new PS2.. you can fit that anywhere!

 

That's if more cars are going to be made.

 

X box is power hungry, might give you a fit trying to power the thing with a 12v system, i don't knowthis for sure, and i'm sure it's been done a million times.

This idea R winn. Thats the best place for it, preferably next to the tv.

 

i'd put the system(any console) in the trunk for good ventilation and id fiberglass the cd/dvd drive in the glove compartment

i just dunno how your gonna control your specific song through your deck's interface.....

If your xbox is modded, load all your games ont eh HD, ditch the DVD drive and cut about an 1" off the console and it fits nicely under a seat. Its the Slim xbox case mod on xbox-scene.com
