Whats the cheapest best radar detecter out there? Im not looking to spend a ton of money on one.

cheap and good don't go together in the world of radar dectors. Best bang for the buck is the 8500 x50 which is around 200-250 new/used on ebay.

Oh I don't even have a car yet. I'm just wondering what the best one is. lol. There are SOOOOO many cops where I live. It's rediculous. There is a station like 4 mins from my house. I don't plan on speeding.

If you don't want to spend like $300+ on the Valentine/Escorts, go with a Cobra. I can't remember the model number of the one I have, but it's the 12-band one. It's only like $80 and it works very well for the price. I'm sure it's nowhere near as good as the Valentine/Escort, but it does the job.
