Blown system Or just Loose wire?

Alright i just now started to have a problem with my System. 1600 watt amp with two 12s. When ever i turn the key over You hear a Thump Thump from the Subs then no sounds comes out of it. Ive tried to turn it on and off a few times and still does it. It seems it wants to only work every other day. I was Figuring a Loose wire due to i still have the stock HU. Any Thoughts or advice?

doesnt quite sound blown but it could very well be the tinsil leads (sorta doubting it)

only way is to test. Invest in a multimeter... check sub ohm, see if ur getting good voltage from power and remote. test continuity of amp ground. test RCAs. test amp output

Turn on thump?

Try putting a 1000 ohm resistor in line with the remote turn on. A lot fo aftermarket amps give you a turn on thump when you use a factory radio. Try this and let me know if it doesnt work. Each case is different.
